We’re around half-way through winter, and energy prices have remained relatively strong, underpinned by a continued concern about what it will take to re-fill storage in time for next winter. A tension exists between adequate supplies in the near term, but an increasing risk premium on the forward curve driven by possible tighter balances in the summer. The Energy Consortium’s Duncan Wyatt will talk about prices, energy flows, and developments in gas and power supply and demand in the UK and elsewhere, and what this might mean for you as you think about your next energy budget.
