      TEC is an award winning not for profit organisation delivering energy procurement solutions to our membership, which comprises mostly Higher and Further Education bodies within the public sector. This opportunity is critical in supporting our growing energy portfolio and to the continued insourcing of data services and reporting. You will be joining a highly professional team based at our modern offices in Longbridge, Birmingham.

      Candidates should be able to demonstrate a successful track record in:

      • Managing data and data flows
      • Working to timescales while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
      • Establishing and delivering new data products and services

       

      The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the data team in the population of structured and basic information for our industry database. They will enable member reporting and support other areas of data application, including TEC spend and performance and the data required to execute services under TEC frameworks. The successful candidate will have:

      • Worked in a data-intensive sector
      • Experience in the normalisation of data and the utilisation of databases
      • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with some experience in Project Management
      • Experience in invoice/bill validation
      • Literacy and demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office packages, particularly in MS Excel

       

      Previous experience within the energy sector would be advantageous and there is a generous pay and benefits package. 

      • Salary would depend on experience but falls within the range of £33,000 - £43,000 pa

      • Generous holiday allowance
