Three academics have been chosen to lead the next phase of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) managed Supergen programme. Patricia Thornley, Phil Taylor and Deborah Greaves have been selected to prepare and build consortia, scope out research strategies and devise networking strategies and engagement plans designed to maximise impact in the fields of bioenergy, energy networks and offshore renewable energy respectively. Ultimately, the three will draw up proposals to establish new hubs investigating innovative new approaches sustainable energy technologies, whilst addressing user-inspired challenges in the sector.
